IAA Art Installations:
Juried, Peer-Reviewed, & Funded

The Institute for Aesthetic Advocacy -- which is, at its heart, a ragtag
team of artists and critics  -- has produced its own body of artwork
which has been displayed in local, national, and international
juried and grant-funded group
and solo shows.

We focus our aesthetic weapons on the following X's that are Ying
:

  • Environmental Illness

  • Scientific and Legal Disputes on EMFs

  • Disability

  • Mental Health

  • Crime and Violence

  • Cross-Cultural Communication in a post-digital world

  • Free Speech and Artistic Freedom

  • Reproductive Rights

Our upcoming artistic interventions are here.

Our own body of work is motivated by the same goals that guide our exhibitions of other artists' work.  We want to use aesthetic experiences as a means of engaging the general public with digital and biomedical harms that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye or too bogged down in esoteric jargon.
